THE BUILDING OF THE SCHOOL AND ITS HISTORY
The building was finished in 1929 by builder Kristian Dejmek and opened in May, 1930.

It has three floors and an L-groundplan, the main entrance is from Slovanské náměstí street, the second wing lies on Charvátská street. Both wings are connected by a corridor.

The halls in front of the stairs are cleared by rose windows in all the floors.
The building of Gymnázium Slovanské náměstí belongs to a group of successful realization of interwar modern, partly influenced by Czech avant-garde.
